about Maureen I'm originally from Michigan, a place I love to go back to every opportunity I have. I have lived in South Florida for 38 years but still feel my roots are back home. Michigan, in my opinion, is a well kept secret,. Most people just assume, it's COLD, (which it is) and leave it at that. What they don't know is how incredibly BEAUTIFUL the state of Michigan is. The Great Lakes, the huge trees, and the beautiful seasons. Until I moved to Florida I thought that "up north" was any place in Northern Michigan (where many families have cottages they escape to on weekends and in the summer). My dream today, to have an "up north" cottage one day and become a Florida snowbird! I went to college late in life with the goal of becoming a "general contractor". I love building & renovating houses. While looking for a position in that field I was approached by a local real estate developer who suggested I sell Real Estate. After a lot of thought and contemplation I took his advise and got my real estate license. That was 13 years ago and I have never looked back. I love what I do and do what I love. I have been blessed with many wonderful clients who today I consider some of my closest friends. Selling real estate is so much more than selling. In this business you have to wear a lot of hats; often all at the same time. I love all the different aspects of this business; marketing, advertising, creativity, listening, knowing the market and market changes, understanding, and working / digging to find exactally what my client wants. It's always very rewarding! My favorite past time, my dogs and cats and anything Mother Nature has to offer. I am an avid lover of "all God's creatures"! I love most any outdoor activity as well as my weekly exercise classes (spin and indoor rowing). I have specialized in Northern Palm Beach & Martin County residential Real Estate for 13 years. My PHILOSOPHY comes from my good "old fashioned" Mid-Western upbringing which I incorporate into my Real Estate business. I believe that in this "super-sized" world it is necessary to treat all of my clients with a "Mom & Pop" business attitude. There are many "assembly line" agents that are more concerned with "volume" than they are personal attention to their clients. I believe in going the extra mile in order to make all of my buyer's and seller's feel as if their my only client. I believe in earning my income the old fashioned way, I WORK FOR IT! |
